Top Tips before you visit!

Stock up on your food before you arrive and check when local shops close too. With no shops in Achmore, your best options are Broadford or Kyle Co-op if coming from Skye, Lochcarron Spar if coming from the North, or Balmacara/Reraig Spar from the South. Click below for a map.

The property has a TV which uses a fire stick for streaming channels only. Please note that there are no terrestrial TV channels, including BBC, ITV, Channel 4 or 5.

While TV is not likely to be top on your 'to-do list' for your visit, you may have things you want to watch, so bring along your streaming logins (e.g. iPlayer, Netflix, Disney+) for the firestick. Alternatively, there are free films/programmes available using the fire stick, DVDs, books, magazines and games!

How to use the TV!

The day before check in, we send you information including directions. Please use these rather than relying on Sat Nav or online maps as these will only bring you to the village, not the house!

We don't have a street name or house number so these directions are essential!

There are no street lights near the house so if arriving after dark, bear this in mind. Achmore is a very safe and friendly area so please don't worry about this at all.
