House Information

General House information
There is a folder in the kitchen with lots of useful information about the house as well as recommendations for the local area.
Please take a minute to read through this on your arrival

Heating and hot water
Please note that although the log burner and the log fuelled kitchen stove can heat the house and hot water, these are additional to the central heating system so you don't have to use them!

Recycling
We want to do our bit for the environment so PLEASE recycle paper, plastics, metals and glass.
There are boxes in the porch for your convenience as well as the main bins at the gate.

Parking
There is ample space in the drive for at least two vehicles.

It's best to keep the gate shut as there can occasionally be cattle roaming in the village!

Dogs
We love dogs and know that sometimes a break away is just not the same without them. The local area (not to mention the large enclosed garden!) is just perfect for your furry friends.

We respectfully ask that if they are coming to the house you can please adhere to the following guidance.

1. Please bring your own dog beds/blankets
2. Please do not allow dogs on the soft furnishings
3. Please do not allow dogs in the bedrooms.

You will appreciate this is for the comfort of all guests, some of whom may have allergies. With the best will in the world, dog hair does get everywhere and with a limited time between bookings, we need to ensure our high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained.

As per the guidance on our booking sites, not respecting these rules will incur an additional cleaning charge.
